Windows Application Publishing provides customers a way to offer clientless,
secure access to their windows applications. Because Windows Application
Publishing is a ROAM feature users can easily and securely access their
applications anywhere, anytime regardless of their connection, location,
or browser.
Without changing your applications you can make them accessible to
local and remote users all the while maintaining the features, functionality,
and branding that the users are familiar with. Thus reducing the time
and expense needed to re-train users.
Deploying or upgrading software to users can be cumbersome and time
consuming. Windows Application Publishing reduces the time and expense
of rolling out applications because all the applications are located
on one central server. Windows Application Publishing only publishes
the applications user interface, not the entire desktop.
Administrators have the ability to grant access to applications based
upon the users role. Roles can be created for a single application or
for multiple applications.
