AssistMeAnyWare

ROAM's AssistMeAnyWare feature provides a fast, easy and secure remote-support service, resulting in a better customer experience. A user can be home, on vacation, or in the office and as long as they are logged into ROAM they will always have the security of knowing that they are a click away from getting help if they need it.

To access the AssistMeAnyWare feature users must call the helpdesk first to ensure that an Assistant is available online and then simply click a link on their ROAM secure desktop and run an executable file before the system fully launches. This will send a request to an Assistant. The request for help notification includes IP address, Machine Name, Machine User ID and OS details. Each ROAM Assistant Dashboard provides notification when users request help.

Each ROAM Assistant has the ability to securely and remotely view and take permission based control of the end user's desktop, instantly exchange files, folders or a combination of files and folders. Assistants also have a chat window which allows them to talk to the end user and resolve the issue quickly.

  • File Transfer - features an embedded File Transfer allowing for easy file copy between local and remote computers.
  • Multiple sessions - Supports multiple ROAM Assistants at once and each Assistant can support multiple concurrent help sessions.
  • Encryption - All communication is encrypted through ROAM, including any chat window conversations.
  • Remote Help - The Assistant does not need to be physically inside the corporate offices to offer Assistance. They can be at home, on vacation, etc and be logged into ROAM and launch the Assist Me application.
