AnyWare Group to attend 2008 e-Health Conference
AnyWare Group to showcase new chronic disease management technology at this year's e-Health Conference in Vancouver
AnyWare Group, developers of the innovative ROAM (Role Oriented Access Management) platform, will be showcasing the company's latest remote access and chronic disease management solutions at the Canada's Health Informatics Association e-Health Conference (COACH), being held May 4 - 7th at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre.
ROAM delivers applications and information to users based on their role - anytime, anywhere - enabling them to improve employee productivity and enhance patient care. Today, more than 60 hospitals throughout North America have leveraged ROAM to enable physicians to proactively monitor their patients' health from their home or abroad, securely and compliantly.
Now ROAM has been extended to chronic disease management, allowing patients to control their health by securely accessing select medical files and disease education resources via a secure Internet connection. ROAM provides a portal where patients can access their health information and read materials related to their condition. Physicians can securely and compliantly interact with patients outside of clinic hours or with those unable to visit a clinic.
At COACH, AnyWare Group representatives will be providing demonstrations of ROAM's capabilities and will be free to discuss how it has been deployed by Canadian and American hospitals to increase the quality of patient care, while decreasing time-to-treatment.
