Second Leading Regional Health Corporation Adopts AnyWare Group's Technology

December 21, 2004 — AnyWare Group Expands its Revolutionary Remote Secure Access Technology — ROAM

SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA — DECEMBER 20, 2004 — AnyWare Group today announced that South-East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) has chosen AnyWare's Role Oriented Access Management (ROAM) system to provide secure identity and access management to SERHA's remote and mobile workforce. The ROAM software provides industry leading security technology that allows the SERHA medical team to access information systems using any device, a standard web browser and the Internet. SERHA joins Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation as the second Health Authority in New Brunswick to adopt ROAM as its secure remote access and identity management solution. “We are extremely pleased that South East Regional Health Authority has selected our ROAM technology as their secure remote identity and access management solution. We have a proven solution that is being adopted by health care providers and other industry leaders throughout North America, especially those concerned with the privacy and security of remote access to information systems.” said Gerry Verner, Chief Executive Officer, AnyWare Group. “ROAM is enabling health care professionals to provide their users with a convenient, easy-to-use interface to confidential patient information that can be shared with internal users, or across multiple domains.”

“The deployment of ROAM has been well received by our team. ROAM is helping us deliver services to a wide cross section of our medical team in a highly efficient way, while helping us to control the costs associated with secure remote access. We have a growing number of team members using ROAM, including physicians, IT staff, transcriptionists and others who require a more flexible work solution. ROAM provides a single interface for our team to remotely access the applications they need or are authorized to use.” said Jacques Lirette, Chief Information Officer at South East Regional Health Authority.
